MASTER STYLIST / OWNER

Thanks for reading my bio! I’m Casey, Owning this salon, is a dream, and I am grateful every day. I remember starting out in this industry having little experience behind the chair, and the feeling was nothing short of excitement and drive. I wanted to learn everything I could. With that, came a passion in my heart, and a fierce love of the industry. Lucky for me, along the way, I had a few role models that inspired me. In fact, I wear a razor sharp blade on my hip that was given to me by one of them! If you are lucky enough to need them, I’ll break them out and give your hair a quick slice with it.

I LOVE pixies; both feminine and masculine, bobs and a nice clipper cut. Even though that’s what I love, I have a well rounded love for all hair types.

DIRECTOR / OWNER

Oh HEY! I’m Danielle, the director of IVEY. You typically wont find me behind the chair, but you will find me beside them, helping. I don’t really have just ONE job, and its one of the many reasons I love what I do. I think that being a business owner means that you support your staff and team. To make sure that every person has a voice and a value. This is an ever changing industry, and supporting each human that I have the privilege to work with means something to me. My job is to make sure that every stylist feels great coming to work, the atmosphere, the vibe, the tools, and a safe space to work. With that, I am always amazed by the art of a stylist, the work and hustle.

The environment created is to ensure every guest feels welcome, comfortable, and safe. I want each human to feel as though this is where they are meant to be. This salon was built on gratitude and positive vibes. So for every guest that walks through our doors, thank you!!

MACKENZIE

STYLIST

Hey Hey! I’m Mackenzie. The resident punk and goth at IVEY! I like pushing boundaries to create my best work behind the chair. I love nothing more than to harness hair energy and spread it around.

Specializing in vibrant colors, short clipper hair, both fem and masculine.

When I am not behind the chair, you can find me reading books, shopping Poshmark, and going on adventures with my husband.

Hi! Im Kat! I was born and raised in Michigan, and I absolutely love the state. I graduated from Aveda Cosmetology school, and absolutely love working behind the chair. Giving guests an experience is something I really enjoy doing. Not just hair, but good energy and conversation.

I am a lover of blonding, as well short haircuts; both fun and edgy! 

When I'm not at work, I love chilling with my cat, Mo. I also paint. In fact, some of my pieces can be found around the salon space. I look forward to seeing you in my chair.

Hey! My name is Camille Patton, and I’m from Nashville, TN. I moved to Ann Arbor in 2020, I’m super stoked to be working at IVEY and behind the chair.

I love all things hair, but my favorite services are blonding and any funky, textured cut. I love a good shaggy mullet right now.

When Im not at IVEY, In my free time I love hanging out with my cat, Cowboy. Wearing my crocs, and being outside.

Hey, It’s Jess! I grew up on my family farm in North Dakota. Have been in this industry for a decade. I spent 3 years behind the chair in NYC while my husband completed residency. NYC is where I learned to recreate my craft. I love every opportunity to learn something new and grow as a stylist.

I welcome all hair types and services , but I specialize in Blonding. I also enjoy Layered Cuts , Clipper Cuts, and BANGS!!!

When I’m not at IVEY. I enjoy the outdoors. Camping , Hiking , Kayaking…I love it all. I’m also a HUGE fan of food.

STYLIST

Hey I’m Annie and I’ve been in the industry for about 15 years. One of the things I love the most about being a hairstylist is that I am able to help guests express themselves creatively and represent themselves authentically.

I dig asymmetrical, disconnected styles, shags, pixies, and lots of layers!  I also really get into highlighting and blonding, from traditional to custom placement are on my list of favorites. 

I’m passionate about sustainability and love thrifting. I’m currently working on building small-scale plastic recycling machines in my garage.

Emerging stylist

Hey I’m Alexis! I was raised in northern Michigan, and I recently graduated from Douglas J Institute in October of 2023. I’m an emerging stylist here at IVEY and have been assisting Camille for the majority of my time.

I love creating lived in color, vibrants, and curly haircuts.
