The creative director of IVEY. You typically wont find me behind the chair, but you will find me beside them, helping. I don’t really have just ONE job, and its one of the many reasons I love what I do. I support staff and team. I make it a mission to let every person know, that I hear their voice and see their value. This is an ever changing industry, and supporting each human that I have the privilege to work with means something to me.
The environment created is to ensure every guest feels welcome, comfortable, and safe. I want each human to feel as though this is where they are meant to be. This salon was built on gratitude and positivity. So for every guest that walks through our doors, thank you.

Owning this salon, is a dream, and I am grateful every day. I remember starting out in this industry having little experience behind the chair, and the feeling was nothing short of excitement and drive. I wanted to learn everything I could. With that, came a passion in my heart, and a fierce love of the industry. Lucky for me, along the way, I had a few role models that inspired me. In fact, I wear a razor sharp blade on my hip that was given to me by one of them! If you are lucky enough to need them, I’ll break them out and give your hair a quick slice with it.
I LOVE pixies; both feminine and masculine, bobs and a nice clipper cut. Even though that’s what I love, I have a well rounded love for all hair types.
I have been working behind the chair for almost 15 years. I have excelled experience in many different areas of cutting, coloring, and styling. I absolutely love doing all of these, but my passion lives with my curls. Working as a curly haired educator for years, I found my true love!
I have fun working on the runway, teaching, and taking as much education as I can get...but my favorite spot is behind the chair. I'm so excited to get to know you and start a hair journey together!
When I'm not behind the chair, you’ll find me at home with a good book.
I’m Alex. A passionate stylist. I have a flair for embracing all hair textures, especially natural curls. Specializing in curly hair, short clipper cuts and lived-in color techniques. In my chair, you will relax and we will collaborate and have fun.
Beyond the salon, I find solace in reading, exploring nature with my dog, and savoring the beauty of my Michigan roots.

I have been in the hair field for almost a whole decade! Insane! I love custom vivid coloring, textured alternative edgy cuts, layers and anything that is outside the norm.
My love of kpop, anime and D&D has influenced my hair artistry a lot. I love to add a whimsical/faefolk look to any style. PBA Beacon class 2026 alumni ready to make you feel out of this world

With under five years behind the chair, he offers a more accessible price point and takes thoughtful time with each service—ensuring care, patience, and attention to detail. While still expanding his technical range, Johnny’s confidence, professionalism, and commitment to learning . Supported closely by IVEY’s collaborative team of stylists, he delivers a warm, guided, and trustworthy experience for guests who appreciate skill development paired with exceptional service.
I was born with a love and passion for all things beauty. My goal is to help guests elevate not just their looks, but their confidence when in my chair. I am also an advocate of healthy hair. I love a good chat session about what you and your hair needs to be successful! I’m working at specializing in cascading layers, dimensional brunettes, and clipper cuts. Plus I love a bouncy blow out.
When I’m not at the salon you can find me searching for a great vintage handbag! Or at home hanging out with my cat. My true loves include leather jackets, plants, and going on my morning hot girl walks.
